We really shook it up at the “Shake It Up Café” VBS.  We had 57 children attend. We started stirring things up at the all church potluck. Then every night the kids had a light meal, went to High-Energy opening to start their training and find out the secret ingredients for carrying out Gods recipes. The chefs in training then traveled through Wok & Roll- Music, Food ology Factory-Science, Spork Sports-recreation, Tangy & Tart Arts-crafts and Kitchen al a King- Bible lessons for living as a follower of God.

Kids United

Monthly, our 5th and 6th graders meet to do community service and have fun and build friendships.

The “God Squad” (5th & 6th    graders) was a mission driven class led by Linda Donaldson and     assisted by Jim Donaldson.  This God Squad encouraged our little chefs to help them help the hungry by donating coins & food items. God Squad had several mission projects          (God Squad report to follow). The God Squad & kids did an AWESOME job.  They collected $329.33 and 469 items of non-perishable food !  The reward for their efforts was a water balloon celebration. Goals were set and met which included throwing balloons at the leaders, teachers and Pastor Steve.  What a way to end the week!
